Germanic Sisters the SS Bremen and the SS Europa were built for the North German Lloyd Line and made their debute in 1929. The fastest liners of their day it wasn't long before they had catapults erected on the superstructure between the funnels for the launching of a mail plane. This offered the postal services a much faster overseas mail turnaround time as the plane was able to arrive 19 hours ahead of the ship.
Print size is 11x17 on 80 lb. Strathmore glossy stock. Edition is limited to 250 pieces signed and numbered by hand by the artist.
