The Uss Nipmuc was a fleet tug and served admirably during WWII and Korea. It was also one of the vessels which helped to free the stranded Mighty Battleship Missouri and take the aircraft carrier USS Antietam to the breakers. This specific painting was comissioned by a friend of a Mr. Gene Conlon who served aboard this vessel.The edition of this painting is set at 200 pieces. #22 and up are available.
