Built and launched by the same yard that created the Compagnie Generale Transatlantique's 1930's wonder-ship Normandie as well as France III 1961. Royal Caribbean's "Of the Sea" class vessels were designed to evoke the mind into thinking these beautiful liners are the next wave of "Grand Luxe" on the oceans of the world. Recently featured in a Travel Network feature entitled "Drydock" the interiors of this vessel were transformed to today's tastes and balconies were added to the rows of cabins behind the lifeboats.
